What are you proclaiming for your life?

Trivial thoughts, insignificant thoughts,
When followed they distract the mind.
Not understanding those thoughts
The roaming mind runs back and forth.
But by understanding those thoughts
One ardent and mindful restrains the mind. An awakened one has overcome
them completely so they do not arise to distract the mind.

-Udana
From "365 Buddha: Daily Meditations," edited by Jeff Schmidt

In this issue of Imagine!, we focus on You Are What You Think

I pray it will encourage, support and challenge you.
Vertical Divider
Narratives, beliefs and self-talk build the framework for what manifests in our lives. They shape what we think we deserve to be, do, have and accomplish. What do you tell yourself on a regular basis?

Your life experiences, how you have been treated you and obstacles and challenges in your path might tell the beginning of your story, but only your thoughts about yourself determine how your story ends.

- Dr. Cari

IMAGINE!
to proclaim and manifest what you fully desire for your life.

In the midst of all that is swirling around us in our personal lives (our families, health, finances, jobs, schools, spiritual communities, and more) and all that is erupting in the world, it takes a village to help us experience a measure of emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. That is why I send out this newsletter, share stories of overcoming, and offer small group programs and workshops.

I was so honored recently when a workshop participant said to me, "I can tell you really care about people." I was moved to tears and action by these words. I really do care about and love people -- even those who make it difficult for me to do so. Over the next few months, you will see more opportunities presented in Imagine! for you to be part of an expanding village of people who are ready to acknowledge and heal their pain. A global village of people who are ready to experience the quality of purpose, connection, peace and joy that make life worth living, and celebrating, and inspiring future generations.

My vision is to provide programs, services, and experiences that are rooted in a practical spirituality transforming daily living.

Thank you for reading Imagine! Let us know any ways we can support you in your journey or how you would like to support others in their journeys. Peace and Love to you, Dr. Cari

Sexual assault leaves negative impacts on bodies, minds and spirits. Because of the silence about sexual assault and not knowing who to trust, most people attempt to deal with these impacts by themselves
but don’t know how to get the breakthroughs they need.

Trying to "get over it" alone, many people engage in a constant cycle of thoughts, narratives and self-talk that limit their lives – relationships, career, finances, education, degree of happiness and personal fulfillment.
If you limit yourself, Taking Back My Life! is ready to help for you to reclaim your power.
For almost 20 years, Taking Back My Life! has been transforming people's lives. Register today.
